From historic exterior to sophisticated interior retreats, everything about The Mart SF is designed to impress. Its signature Art Deco design unfolds into thoroughly modern workspaces, with elegant glass, oak and burnished steel finishes.
It doesn’t get more San Fran than this: every up, every down, and every glorious return. The Mart SF has been serving the city and its tenants since 1937, and the best is yet to come.
Originally hailed as “San Francisco’s answer to the depression, The Mart SF consists of two buildings joined by a landscaped plaza spanning an entire block along Market Street between 9th and 10th Streets in San Francisco’s Mid-Market neighborhood.
We’ve redeveloped the 1355 Market Street Building while maintaining its classic architecture and, at the same time, offering modern, state-of-the-art conveniences.
The vision for The Mart SF is one of connection and community, and the team leading the project brings together some of San Francisco’s most innovative urban place-makers. With more than 60 years of experience in the city, they have the partnerships, energy and know-how to bring the vision to life.
